Singer-songwriter Sabrina Bellaouel owns her sultry and sensual R&B sound. Her music has been inspired by a huge range of genres present in the Parisien music scene -- from punk to gospel. Though born and raised in the French suburb of Bagneux, Sabrina has honoured her Algerian heritage throughout her life. As a child she often visited her native country and as an artist, shot part of her 2018 "Illusions" music video at site Santa Cruz in Oran. North African identity has always been of significance to Sabrina who recently released "Arab Liquor" remix package. The tracks explore her time working at a London Shisha bar and makes reference to female empowerment and Algerian culture like henna, hairdressing, mint and tea.
