Beijing with Yu Su

As part of BULLY MAG's collaboration with Beijing-based record label DCYY/到此一游, Yu Su - a producer, DJ, and sound artist - contributed an unreleased track to the compilation with her signature emotion-packed compositional punches. With this project reaching across the globe, she shares her favourite spots in her adopted home city that could easily intimidate with its sprawling high-rises and barricade of city sounds.

The compilation, named 'HOME FITNESS VOLUME 2', can be found here.

Wigwam

"I played music until 10am at Wigwam, and it reminded me of the time I did an all night set at The Berkeley Suite in Glasgow. This is a place in between a bar and a club with the perfectly small size and the best crowd. i can’t wait to do an all-night set there for the next visit (think this pretty much sums up how special it is!)"

新新湘菜馆 (Xinxin Xiang Restaurant)

"This hole-in-the-wall Hunan place serves some of the most authentic Hunan cuisine in Beijing, the highlight for me was this fermented stinky tofu dish. (Shout out to Simon Frank and Gong Gong Gong for this one!)

Cafe Zarah

"I have been to Cafe Zarah many times since my first visit to Beijing 5, 6 years ago. Cozy with a big outdoor space, this place serves good coffee and does not feel pretentious."
