It’s like pick n mix - the programming is dope. The cinema shows crazy stuff all the time and they tend to be the first to screen most independent young artist's films. It’s cheap too, which always blows my mind.

Don't do Saturdays... it’s like Camden on steroids (in London language, this is stressful). This is my home, it's where i grew up. Friday is the best day for proper vintage and second hand clothes. I studied fashion and am obsessed with textiles, lots of that too! Friday is when all the buyers from the big fashion houses descend (usually at 7.30AM) to swoop all gear for archive research. Walk to the very top and then right on Golborne’s best food stalls (Moroccan, West Indian and more... weather dependant though).

Literally go to to the rose garden and check out all the names of the different strains. It’s so grand, old-fashioned and FREE... Also WHO knew there were roses called Champagne Coast, Rachel, Nostalgia and Simply the best?

This is my childhood gallery. Walk through Kensington Gardens, around the round pond, or from Albert Hall. There are two, the Sackler Centre and the Original Gallery. It’s on this list for pure nostalgia. It’s literally the first gallery I was pushed around in a stroller. The events programme in the Summer is super fun too.

My friend Jackson has opened the most divine restaurant. The food is a sensory ride and is aesthetically gorgeous. The space is designed by Rose Uniacke. Jackson, as corny as it sounds, is a magician with flavour. Boujie.

I worked for John after dropping out of studying fashion. He started ‘Granny Takes a Trip’ in the 60s, dressed icons like Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles... literally everyone. He opened his tailors in the early 80s. He’s usually grump, but if you say you know Lotte he’ll cheer up. He literally invented hype youth culture clothing and lol'd when Supreme opened a block away cos he said he hadn’t seen young people queue for clothes since his shop.

This is one of London’s best kepts... there are a line of restaurants in a row that have been there since the 80s. They’ve got weird cool wooden booths. Order the chana poori or the poori filled with yoghurt and sweet potatoes. So divine! Pay by cash or only one card to make it easy for them. Lunch buffet for £6.50- DIVINE.

When I was in college, I was very curious to know all about art and I spent a lot of my time at a gallery where I could have a vast learning experience. From the sculptures of the Harappan civilization to miniature Mughal paintings, to the work of contemporary masters, the Government College of Art is a museum and art gallery that covers an extensive range of art, all housed in one place. As a student developing my artistic practice, there could be nothing more exciting than a place like this, with a huge library stocked with books, and much to see and experience. A personal favourite of mine is a modernist mural by Satish Gurjal of Shiva Parvati made with ceramic.

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a fitting place for art enthusiasts who are ever interested in using sustainable materials. In the art world now, there’s a lot of talk about creating consciously, and it’s wonderful to know that this garden was built in Chandigarh, all the way back in 1957 by an official called Nek Chand Saini. I’ve spent hours exploring the sculptures that dot the garden because it’s bursting with energy, and I still fear that if I divert my eyes for a second I’ll miss something of value. There is a newly added doll museum of rag doll sculptures made from waste cloth, representing Indian culture and its everyday life – like a bridegroom in his traditional gear or women artisans busy at the spinning wheel. With waterfalls and swings dotting the property, it’s a great place to spend many hours on a day when you have time, admiring the sculptures.

The Rose Garden is a large, botanical garden with over a thousand roses and plants of medicinal value. The garden also happens to be Asia’s largest and hosts an annual cultural event: the Rose Festival at the beginning of the year. The thing I love most is that roses from all over are planted according to the season, so there’s always something in bloom. The special thing about Chandigarh is that it is a planned city, and Mohinder Singh Randhawa – who was involved in landscaping – founded the Rose Garden in his attempt to ensure that there is a healthy mix of nature included in the city’s plan, which is why you will find a lot of green in Chandigarh.

This is my favourite place to eat in all of the city. Being originally from Amritsar, and having lived in Chandigarh for long, I find myself missing the authentic Amritsari chole kulcha (chickpeas cooked in spices, paired with bread from the tandoor), and this spot immediately remedies my homesickness. Pair a tall glass of lassi with the dish and that is your go-to Punjabi meal.

If you wish to have an authentic Indian meal or even bakery treats, made with organic ingredients, this is the cafe you should visit. From a Railway mutton curry to sourdough, you’ll find a delectable variety of food, all consciously sourced and cooked. I really like the urban interiors and soft light of Back to Source, and you can look out onto the city while having a drink in the cafe.

Shastri market is a local market where you’ll find a mixed bag of people, purchasing anything from clothes to cutlery. It’s a huge market, and has items at reasonable prices along with expensive ones, really depending on what you’re looking to buy. I love visiting the market since most of my clothes are created by me, and this is the place from where I source the raw material for the clothes I stitch and wear. I love the prints and patterns they stock. For my art, I solely use discarded fabrics, which I find in the market as well.

This is a collection of shops, restaurants and galleries all in one space in Johannesburg. My favourite spot to go to when I am there is called "Peachy" they have incredible "Asianesque Wings" that you need to try out. They also have live music which is always great, especially when it is Jazz!

This is one of the best places I have been to in Johannesburg. The food is incredible, the music is so nice and the overall aesthetic of the place is amazing, in fact, I shot some scenes for my music video "Sunday" in the venue. When you go there you need to ask for Katlego Mlambo, he is the head chef - award winning type of guy.

This is a really cool place to go chill on a Saturday afternoon, it is a food and drink market that happens in the city, great views, good music and tasty food is always a good combination.

My favorite part about these gardens is the river with the fish, I like feeding the fish, it is so peaceful and green. Oh, they also have ducks and ducks are really cute. Sometimes, you just need to sit under a tree and breathe in fresh air with your shoes off, this is the perfect place for this.

This is an old school cinema based in Braamfontein, which is near Johannesburg city centre. They showcase indie films there, both local and international. It's really great to spend an evening watching indie films and eating popcorn, I feel so vintage when I do that.

This place is really cool, it is a lifestyle centre made up of over 100 empty shipping containers filled with different fashion and retail stores, there are also some really cool coffee shops with great doughnuts, they sometimes have live music too, if you watching live music you need a glass of wine. South Africa has the best wine.

This rooftop is on the 15th Floor of a designer hotel in the middle of Johannesburg City Centre, the views of the city are incredible and the sunsets are even better. If you ever find yourself in this beautiful venue you have to try the Oysters, they are unbelievable.

Botanique in Brussels is housed in a former botanical garden with a reputation for supporting and promoting emerging talent. From exhibitions to theatre performances and music festivals, Botanique is an experience you can’t find anywhere else.

If you want a night out in the township, this should be your first stop. Rands is one of the best live music venues in the city and a great place to experience a night out over some drinks and some of SA’s biggest musicians.

If you’re interested in hiking this is an entry level trail. There’s a beautiful view of the ocean and the city when you reach the peak. It’s really pretty around sundown.

This is a great spot for people who want to experience some of Cape Town’s alternative/underground music events. The best event to attend there is called Prime, so keep an eye on their socials.

This is probably the most popular bar in town. They have great music from an eclectic line up of local (and some international) djs. Start off at the one in Kloof Street around 6/7pm for sundowners and make your way down the road to the one on loop street around 10pm for the rest of the night. If you just want a chilled night out, stick to Kloof Street.

If you’re into markets/food festivals this is your spot on Saturday mornings. There are local bands, food stalls and tons of independent retailers selling (often local) goods.

Observatory is often referred to as the bohemian centre of Cape Town, because of all the students and backpackers it attracts. With the many bars on Lower Main Road, its definitely a must see for people looking to meet new people and interact with the creative community.

If you’re a fan of nature, you might want to make a stop here with the whole family. This is easily one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the country. Depending on the season they also host live concerts on the grass.

Salón Málaga is a long-lived bar full of history and oldster local music. It's perfect to get a taste of what the old city used to be, while you drink some aguardientes (schnapps). This place is downtown so then take the opportunity to go through it.

Easily the best place in the Aburrá Valley to eat typical Medellín food. It’s hardcore, watch out.

If you are looking for proper local heavy sweaty ‘bellaqueo’, this is paradise. My favorite reggaeton club in town. Berlin has Berghain, but Medellín has Perro Negro.

In addition to having a fresh program, movies, installations, and restaurants, hanging around the Medellín Modern Art Museum is pure bliss.

A small taste of Colombia's vast biodiversity. Don't miss out on the ‘Mariposario’. It is located right next to the aquarium (also don’t miss there the Amazonas king: the Pirarucú) and the planetarium.

As a teenager, football was my whole life and it allowed me to get out of my neighborhood and discover the city in depth. I have a lot of memories of this field, especially when it was made of sand and not synthetic grass. If you like the game and want to get out of the ordinary-tourist common places, here you will find high football matches to watch while feeling Medellín’s real heat.

This is one of the few electronic music clubs left in the city. There we have had memorable parties, especially the Medellin Rave Society — Insurgentes showcase back in 2018. Calle 9+1 resists in spite of the fact that we have a government that does not allocate any kind of aid to the arts and culture sector in the midst of the pandemic.
