    At Trippin, we want people to have a better experience whilst travelling. In order to create the best possible service for our users, we collect, use, and share information and data, either provided by our users or generated by their usage of Trippin.

    This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through Trippin PLC (“Trippin” “we,” “us,” or “our”) websites (including mobile-optimised versions) that post this Privacy Policy, including any features and online services that post an authorised link to this Privacy Policy, whether accessed via computer, mobile device or otherwise (collectively, " Sites").

    What information do we collect? How do we use it?

    We automatically collect certain types of information about activities on our Sites, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Sites. This information is aggregated and anonymised or de-identified, and does not identify individual users such as yourself. We use Google Analytics to collect this type of information, so Google may also have access to this information.     If you conduct a transaction through the Trippin Duty Free Shop, you must provide certain types of Personally Identifiable Information in order to complete the transaction, including financial information related to your payment method (for example, valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We do not collect the financial information you provide. In order to fulfil the orders you make through our website, we collect your name, addresses, phone number, order details, like the products you are buying, the size and price. The legal basis is the performance of a Contract with you. This information is collected and stored by our third party payment processing company, Shopify.

    If you send us an email that we reply to, or have subscribed to our newsletter or a similar service that allows us to send you emails, we may receive email activity data from your email provider. We use this data to understand and enhance our email communications and the Sites. If you do not want to receive email from us, you can unsubscribe by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email we send to you.

    How do we collect information from you?

    We use several methods to collect information from you. As mentioned above, we use Google Analytics to collect many types of Site usage information, and you can learn more about Google Analytics here. In addition, we may use:

    • Cookies. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your device when you use our Sites. When you use our Sites a second time, the cookie allows our Sites to recognise your device or browser. Some Site features may not function properly without cookies.     We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

    Your rights relating to your Information

    You have certain rights in relation to personal information we hold about you. Details of these rights and how to exercise them are set out below. We will require evidence of your identity before we are able to act on your request.

    Right of Access. You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the Information about you that we hold, and to confirm the nature of the Information and how it is used. Where we have good reason, and if the GDPR permits, we can refuse your request for a copy of your Information, or certain elements of the request.     Right of Correction or Completion. For example, if we are processing your Information on the basis of our legitimate interests and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for our processing which override your rights and interests.     Is personally identifiable information about me secure?

    We use industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personally Identifiable Information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security or your Personally Identifiable Information.

    How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?

    We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. Only authorized employees and contractors who need the information in order to operate, develop or improve Trippin, are given access. Please be aware that, although we strive to provide the best security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential breaches.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information and other information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected from you.
