Trippin With: Episode Two with Ronan McKenze
As part of our Selfridges event on the future of community clubs, panellist Ronan McKenzie joins us in the booth for the third episode ‘Trippin With’. Shot in a photo booth and hosted by Ethan Joseph, the series gets you closer to global talent through their opinions, stories and experiences, all explored through culture and place.
What does Ronan Mckenzie like to do at the weekends? It certainly isn't going to art fairs. "There are other things I like to do in my free time," she shares with Ethan in the booth.
Ronan does many things, but she started out in fashion - working in retail, before heading to CSM to get into fashion communication. She moved into styling, and then into photography. Now a major name in London's creative scene, she's passionate about making creative spaces in the city that are fairer, and more affordable, launching the HOME in 2020 to create an accessible space people could hang out and discover new things. Alongside her numerous projects today, she is the creative director of fashion label Selasi, curator at CAART studio, and continues to work as a photographer represented by Cadence Image.
Does London still drive her creative passions, or is she fed up of it like the rest of us? Find out her thoughts in the booth, below.
