OpenAREA Film Screening and Group Show Supported by ASICS
OpenAREA uses art and creativity to reframe how we see nature, uncovering the many different ways people feel connected to it and exploring how these can inform better ways to live. Together, ASICS and OpenAREA have created a shared space to celebrate this connection between mind, body and nature and provoke new ideas for how they can exist together through a screening of the OpenAREA anthem film and a group show presenting work from a lineup of next-gen artists.

Talk: In Between Ghana and London
Each with strong ties to Ghana and the UK, this talk, moderated by Bianca Manu, focuses on the shared histories and unique experiences that connect photographers Mahaneela and BAFIC. Working in diaspora, across time and place, how does a common heritage link their respective approaches to photography? In what ways does place influence a photographic practice? Together, they consider the personal bonds and networks that have emerged out of the cultural exchange between these two places.
