Cheer Up Luv x Bee Illustrates presents Hysterical

This Women’s History Month Eliza Hatch and Bee Illustrates present the second instalment of their group show, Hysterical: Celebration of Subversive Art.

The exhibition aims to subvert the notion of “dramatic” or “hysterical” women* and reclaim terminology that has historically been used to silence oppressed communities, bringing together together a group of interdisciplinary artists who identify as women or marginalised genders.

‘Remember Me’ by Joy Yamusangie

Andreas Schulze: On Stage

On Stage features a series of new paintings created especially for both shows, in which the grand dazzling world of entertainment meets everyday life, revolving around the idea of staging. This is the first solo presentation of the Andreas Schulze's work in the UK in almost ten years.

R.I.P. Germain’s exhibition “Jesus Died For Us, We Will Die For Dudus!”

The exhibition will feature an ambitious newly commissioned, immersive, multipart installation that examines the complex logic of cultural gatekeeping within Black culture, and the (mis)perception of these dynamics in a wider (white) world.

This Thursday 16th catch a one off ICA curator-led tour, which expands on the artist’s work featured in the exhibition, with the opportunity for questions and discussion.
