Exhibition: Julianknxx - Chorus in Rememory of Flight

Sierra Leonian artist Julianknxx uses his personal history as a prism to deconstruct dominant perspectives on African art, history, and culture. Rich with symbolism, his work conveys the Black experience of defining and redefining the self, rejecting labels to form new collective narratives.

The Yard Theatre and Hackney Council come together for a day roadshow. The day will kick off with a jamboree featuring cocktails, mocktails, Soca Aerobics, costume making, a bouncy castle and plenty more activities for the whole family between 12 & 2pm. Then from 2pm a line-up stacked of soca, dancehall, reggaeton and much more.
