Frieze and the ICA collaborate to curate a programme of artists’ film and moving image, coinciding with Frieze London’s 20th Anniversary.
From 10 – 15 October, the ICA hosts a drop-in screening programme of artists’ film and moving image in the Theatre, with the selection playing on a continuous loop each day.

Fundraiser: HAY - A Night for Armenia
A few weeks ago, Armenians in Artsakh were attacked following an illegal blockade for over en months by Azerbaijan, a dictatorship that has prioritised oil money and colonialism over humanity. Now more than 100,000 Artsakh Armenians have been forcibly removed from their homes forever, and are in need of food, housing, medicine and clothing. The international community has failed Artsakh and Armenia.
HAY (h-ahy) is a night to highlight the voices of Armenians and allies from the music community in the UK.

Exhibition: Abort, Retry, Fail
Based between Brooklyn and Abu Dhabi, Farah Al Qasimi’s first solo show exhibits still and moving image works which vibrantly capture glimpses of everyday life and the entangled relationship between material culture and globalised societies. This exhibition comprises new photographs, vinyl wallpaper works, and a specially commissioned video, which coalesce to create a layered visual constellation.

Gig: The Spiral @ ICA
The Spiral is a turning, a gathering – a world in the making.
To celebrate Ignota’s fifth birthday, Jaar explores the spiral path in an improvised solo set for bass clarinet and electronics. This concert is accompanied by sets from artists Flora Yin Wong, Chooc Ly Tan, and TFT (Stephen McLaughlin) as a continuation of the Ignota Gathering: The Spiral at St. James’s Church earlier that day.
