With the year entering its final stretch, the global cultural calendar shows no sign of slowing down. November offers a dynamic mix of music events, art fairs, and film festivals celebrating creativity across every continent.
Below we pick out some of our global highlights, from an experimental music festival in Barcelona to a horror-themed film festival in Mexico City.

Stockholm International Film Festival, Stockholm, Sweden (5 - 16 November)
Between November 5 and 16, film takes centre stage in Stockholm. Over twelve days, 135 films from 60 countries will be screened - a program filled with fresh perspectives from around the world.The Stockholm International Film Festival was launched in 1990 by a group of film enthusiasts and has been held every year since then, becoming one of Europe's leading film festivals.

Offprint Paris, Paris, France (13 - 16 November)
From November 13 to 16, 2025, Offprint Paris will take place at Césure, bringing together over 150 independent experimental and socially engaged publishers in the fields of arts, architecture, design, humanities, and visual culture, who are underrepresented within the traditional book market.

MIRA Digital Arts Festival, Barcelona, Spain (27 October- 5 November)
When it comes to festivals in the Catalan capital, Primavera Sound and Sónar have historically dominated. MIRA Digital Arts Festival is asserting itself thanks to programming including audiovisual shows, installations, live performances and DJ sets. This year the lineup features live sets from Flying Lotus, Erika De Casier and Los Thuthanaka.

DOC NYC, New York City, USA (12-30 November)
Doc NYC is an annual documentary film festival in New York City. The festival is the USA's largest documentary film festival with over 300 films and events. This year, the program features a film by Jeremy Xido on Detroit, a groundbreaking study of a Palestinian comedy troupe and a music-filled portrait of Afro-Cuban icon Pablo Milanés.

Art Collaboration Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan (14 - 16 November)
Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK) is one of the leading art fairs in Japan that specialises in contemporary art. The program presents unique collaborations forged between Japanese and international galleries; government and private sectors; and fine arts and other cultural spheres. Special exhibitions and public programs are also held in Kyoto City.

Artissima, Turin, Italy (31 October - 2 November)
Held in Turin's skylit Oval Lingotto in the foothills of the Alps, Artissima is Italy's largest international contemporary art fair. Since its establishment in 1994, it has combined the presence of an international market with a focus on experimentation and research. This year the fair will have three curated sections, Present Future, Back to the Future and Disegni.

Durations, New York City, USA (5-9 November)
NYC's Public Records hosts Durations, a weekend-long exploration of sound in collaboration with Pioneer Works,. Now in its fourth year, the lineup — which features Actress, Andy Stott, Call Super, Lyra Pramuk and Vlada — aims to provide a hotbed of sonic discovery across live and club performances. There will also be a daytime event hosted by the philosophy podcast Acid Horizon.

Dharamshala Film Festival, Dharamshala, India (30 October - 2 November)
Since its inception in 2012, the Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) has remained faithful to its mission of promoting contemporary art, cinema and independent media in the Himalayan regions, flourishing into an engaged platform that brings together local and high-profile international filmmakers. DIFF is known for its bold and adventurous programming that encourages cultural exchange between filmmakers. This year, Hong Sang-Soo's By The Stream will be screened alongside Neeraj Ghaywan's film Homebound and Sivaranjini's film Victoria.

Unearth, Copenhagen, Denmark (21 November)
Danish club night Unearth returns to Copenhagen's Hangaren this November with a wide ranging, international lineup featuring recent Rosalia collaborator Yves Tumor, hyped London-based duo Bassvictim and alt-pop band haloplus+.

Paris Photo, Paris, France (13-16 November)
Paris Photo is the world's largest art fair dedicated to photography and image-based art. It was founded in 1997, and is held in November at the Grand Palais, located at the Champs-Élysées. This year for its 28th edition, the festival has announced 222 exhibitors with 179 galleries and 43 publishers from 33 different countries.

Nyege Nyege Festival, Jinja, Uganda (20-23 November)
Cult label and festival Nyege Nyege celebrate their 10th anniversary with over 300 artists across six immersive stages on the banks of the Nile. Expect four days of genre-defying electronic music, live acts, and traditional rhythms — spanning Afro-house, Singeli, gqom, kuduro, techno, and more. As well as fashion takeovers, an underground film program and culinary journeys.

Morbido Fest, Mexico City, Mexico (29 October - 9 November)
Morbido Fest was founded by Pablo Guisa Koestinger in 2008 to promote Mexican filmmakers and the country's long-standing tradition of producing horror and fantasy films. The 2025 edition will be held in Mexico City across different movie theaters.
