BFI Flare 2025: London's LGBTQIA+ Film Festival
London's BFI is marking the return to spring with an 11-day queer cinema festival.
Iconic film establishment, BFI, has put together a programme of queer film, events, and activities over 11 days from mid to late March. The festival includes special presentations of films including 2024's Dreams in Nightmares, a Black queer road trip movie, to re-screenings of classics like Ang Lee's 1993 classic, The Wedding Banquet.
The programme also boasts DJs, workshops, panel discussions and a robust selection of 56 features, one series and 81 shorts from over 40 countries. Key dates are as follows.
25 February 12:00: Priority booking for BFI Members
27 February 12:00: Tickets on general sale
13 March 12:00: Extra tickets released for some screenings and events
19 to 30 March: The festival takes place
BFI Flare Programmers have the following in a press statement:
