Opened in lockdown, Norman’s is a celebration of British cafe culture by two friends, Richie Hayes and Elliott Kaye, who met while working in some of the best restaurants in the country. The highest quality produce cooked with nostalgia means this isn’t your average greasy spoon. Honest prices and good vibes means all are welcome – day or night.

Having grown up around cafe culture in London, Richie and Elliott know a good cafe when they see it. Not only do they judge by the food, but the feeling a cafe brings. A sense of community and the ability to bring together hungry people from such different walks of life is perhaps what they love most about these cafes. Everything you want in a cafe is here. Cheap, accessible and friendly. We used to live round the corner so was our local.

Not the river cafe everyone thinks it is. This River Cafe is a small spot located in Putney, it serves all your classics done right and serves generous portions too.

Sit outside and have an espresso and a quick shot of something to get you ready for the night. Great pitstop to watch Soho life go by.
