Hurricane Melissa Relief - A Resource List
On October 27, Hurricane Melissa tore through the Caribbean, devastating entire villages, towns and cities in Jamaica, Cuba and Haiti and resulting in dozens of fatalities. It is one of the strongest hurricanes the region has ever seen.
Stranded and struggling, the island nations are depending on international aid as they seek to rebuild. Despite contributing to less than 0.3% of greenhouse gases, the Caribbean is made extremely vulnerable from climate injustice and environmental racism, disproportionally put at extreme risk by climate change caused by richer polluting nations.
Trippin has put together the following resource list for anyone looking to help, however they can.
