Lace Up & Get Stuck In: Experience Women's Football in London With Baller FC
The Lionesses brought it home again this summer - rocketing London’s already bustling women’s football scene to even greater heights.
The victory of professional women’s team owes its success to the support, passion and strength of the grassroots queer sport communities, with groups like Baller Friends Collective organising inclusive and welcoming watch parties and events dedicated to women sports.
“Women’s football in London is booming – from grassroots 5 a-side, to lower league football, fan watch parties and WSL,” says Rachel, who founded Baller FC in 2022.
