Shop Ghana's Emerging Fashion Brands with King Promise

For Accra born-and-raised singer King Promise, it's hard to pinpoint what exactly is his favourite thing about Ghana. "There are a lot of things I could say, but definitely our food, our music, our culture, nightlife & just the peace & tranquility!" His music has contributed to the Ghanaian music and nightlife scene over the years and his collaborations with fellow Ghanaians like Headie One has helped usher new audiences towards African sounds.

As a fashion fan, King Promise has noticed the raw talent coming out of the country in recent years, with the creative and fashion scene "popping off right now with a lot of young creatives doing dope stuff. Streetwear culture is big in Ghana & the new crop of talented designers are killing it at the moment." In King Promise's guide, he spotlights the innovative brands to keep an eye out for. A word of warning from King Promise though, Ghana's energy is not one to be taken lightly: "ask anyone who’s ever been to Accra.. whether for their first time or not, they find themselves not wanting to leave. Ghana is the spot. Great nightlife, amazing food & absolutely lovely people!"

Alchemy

Custom made high end style made at affordable Accra city rates for the streets. Great quality mixed with good style…

Vigi Force

This brand is mad innovative. They bring my ideas to life. Growing up on the streets of Accra, thrift shopping on the streets of Cantamanto which is the hub of second hand goods, pretty much shaped our fashion sense and Vigi Force is a direct representation of that for me…

Tribe of God

I’m Christian… Religion & street-style is a mad combo. Stand out for me.

Free The Youth

You can’t mention Ghana street fashion and not mention them. Coolest kids vibes curated by street kids. Too solid!

Fumais

More than fashion, their pair of jeans with Kwame Nkrumah prints is my fav.
