Photographer George Kanis was born and raised in the Greek island Chios before he later relocated to the capital city: Athens. It's there that he began exploring the underbelly of the city, delving into Athens' blossoming queer scene. Through his lens, Kanis produces portraits that feel raw and primal, focusing on fetish clothing, nudity and hinting at queer sex in particular.
