 was born and raised in the Greek island Chios before he later relocated to the capital city: Athens. It's there that he began exploring the underbelly of the city, delving into Athens' blossoming queer scene. Through his lens, Kanis produces portraits that feel raw and primal, focusing on fetish clothing, nudity and hinting at queer sex in particular.

As someone who's spent an extensive period of time exploring Athens' queer underground scene, Kanis shares his knowledge on the best spots. Below, you can find his selection of queer bars you need to go to when in the Greek capital.

This is one of the underground spaces that I am running. Feel free to come as you are. There is no dress code, you can express yourself as you like.
