Morbido Fest

Now in its 17th edition, Morbido Fest was founded by Pablo Guisa Koestinger in 2008 to promote Mexican filmmakers and the country's long-standing tradition of producing horror and fantasy films.

While it began as a film festival, Morbido has expanded to become a multifaceted event providing artists with space to promote multi-platform content.

With its flagship festival based in Mexico City, Morbido also hosts events across Latin America and is a continental-wide activation showcasing the best of Latin American horror, sci-fi and fantasy from up-and-coming directors. Furthermore, it hosts an open call for entries each year, allowing filmmakers of all levels to submit their work.

Morbido fest will return on 31 October 2024. The location is yet to be announced.
