DMV native Goldlink shares his favourite spots to eat out at in his hometown. The DMV area – which includes D.C, Virginia and Maryland - is a melting pot of rich music culture. Incorporating the go-go genre born out of the area in the 60s - Goldlink pays homage to his area through his sound aesthetic and identity - a sound which has influenced many other rappers since then. Bringing together fellow Baltimore singer Brent Faiyaz and DC rapper Shy Glizz, in a DMV, grammy nominated, anthem which combines the area’s eccentricity with the city’s rap scene.
