Sueuga Kamau's Guide to Oakland
Sueuga Kamau, otherwise known as Manolis Sueuga, is a California-based producer who infuses their experimental beats with Latinx sounds and Caribbean influences. Credited for "establishing the identity of a new wave of producers in the Bay Area”, their journey started in Oakland, a city which allowed them to begin their journey in production and experiment with soundscapes and cinematic music. Their music has developed to explore social dialogues around politics and the history of South America, through progressive beats and producing for reggaetonerxs of Neoperreo and collaborating with vocalist La Favi in 2018.
