The 7 Best Places to Visit in Denver with THEY

With over 700 million global streams, 2.6M+ Shazams, large critical acclaim and having shaped some of today’s biggest records, THEY. have firmly positioned themselves as one of R&B’s most essential groups through their groundbreaking take on R&B. Growing up feeling like outsiders, producer Dante Jones and singer Drew Love sought comfort in artists such as Nirvana, Tame Impala, Taking Back Sunday and Vampire Weekend along with E-40, Slim Thug, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross and the R&B staples of their day. The duo first met in 2014 and launched THEY. to reimagine alt-R&B and build belonging for themselves and others who’ve felt like they didn’t quite fit in. The duo merged their eclectic tastes ranging from grunge, hip-hop, R&B, and ’90s new jack swing, resulting in an explosive sound that catapulted them to stardom.

Their breakout Nü Religion project amassed millions of streams and large critical acclaim, and it also captured the attention of artists such as Timbaland and Bryson Tiller. Soon after, Tiller invited the duo to open on his Trapsoul Tour in 2016 and they have also toured with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jeremih. The duo further cemented themselves outside of the pack through their dynamic projects, Fireside EP and The Amanda Tape, which saw thrilling collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Tinashe, Jeremih, Wale, Juice J, Jessie Reyez and Gallant. They’ve also gone on to receive press support from the likes of The Fader, Paper, The Guardian, XXL, Wonderland, Evening Standard, Complex UK & NME.

In their guide, they share their top spots around Denver.
