For those who aren't familiar with Yukari, the Japanese selector's formative influences were her father's soul and funk records. She became an avid buyer at Shibuya's Dance Music Record, before she later moving to London and returning to Japan.

Back in her home country, she managed the Japanese branch of Juno Records. Currently, she's at the helm of Jazzy Sport Kyoto and is also a member of the Kyoto Jazzy Creative Council – a creative team that manages the satellite programme WWKYOTO on Worldwide FM.

Here, for Trippin, she comes through with a mix of house and Latin disco. Lock in.
