Explore Another Side of Amsterdam with ‘The New Originals’The New Originals
Amsterdam-based clothing brand "The New Originals" creates performance clothing for creatives. TNO came about in 2011 when a close group of friends created a blog to bring together their love of fashion, music and art. Now they have a full-fledged fashion brand, with their flagship store situated in one of Amsterdam's main shopping district, Zeedijk.
In their guide, they pick out the spots in Amsterdam that are bursting with creative energy and inspiration. They also throw in some of their favourite places to grab a bite, whether that be a Thai snackbar or Turkish pizza. Having been "born and raised in Amsterdam" has given the trio "a perspective on different cultures and lifestyles that have formed" in the city, inspired by new cultures and ways of thinking. It's led them to appreciate the diversity of the city whether in the art, fashion or food scene.
