SoFTT on Where to Eat in Miami
SoFTT on Where to Eat in Miami
SoFTT are the maximalist club duo injecting a dose of sexy, lighthearted fun into Miami’s after-hours scene.
An acronym for South Florida Trance Team, SoFTT is made up of DJ-producer Trevor McFedries and vocalist Kablito. McFedries hails from Iowa and Kablito from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Before SoFTT, McFedries was producing beats for the likes of Azealia Banks and toured with Katy Perry in 2011, while Kablito was a Latin pop solo act. Together, they formed SoFTT – a moniker under which they produce Eurodance-inspired club music laced with reggaeton and techno; a sound born out of Miami's varied and decadent dance scene.
2023 was a breakout year for the pair, who earned nods from music critics for the trance anthem Kiero K Me Kieras. The single encapsulates the many layers of their trance sound, leaning into the technicolour joyride of soaring highs and the yearnful longing found in Kablito's AutoTuned vocals.
As artists working within the vibrant, coastal city of Miami, the pair – as locals would – both carry the knowledge of where you can find the best food in the area. Scroll down for their recommendations.

“This is Trevor's favourite pizza in the world. The menu is simple and leans heavily on pizza, but the Japanese sweet potato with buckwheat is another fantastic dish. Wonderful owners, and a beautiful, cosy space.”

“This is our Midtown local spot. The food is fantastic, nothing fancy – just the greatest Italian hits done well. The Branzino and the Milanese paired with a pasta are the usuals when we sneak away from the studio for dinner.”
