Even though Lisbon is old, it’s never had so much groove. Emerging local artists are hosting shows unpacking the perils of gentrification, and expat communities from France and Brazil are adding a new layer to the creative scene, hosting events and festivals like Iminente. The flow that was set in motion by the gentrification gods has impacted the food and wine scene too, although we have some great traditional eateries, Lisbon has no shortage of natural wine and small plates, but we’ll talk more about that later…
